Grandpa Ray’s Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 C milk
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 3/4 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 C cold water
  • 2 none eggs
  • 8 1/2 C flour (I use Lehi Roller Mills bread flour)
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1/3 C vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Scald milk. Add water and then add about half of the flour. Mixture should be lukewarm. Stir in yeast.

  3. Knead dough until it doesn’t stick to a board.
  4. Place dough in a buttered bowl and let rise again.
  5. Roll dough onto a floured surface, about 3/4 inch thick. Cut rolls and fold.
  6. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
