Casey's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies with sea salt finishing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1/3 C white sugar
  • 1 stick melted butter (cooled)
  • 1 none egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1.5 C flour
  • 1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 C milk chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream together brown sugar, white sugar, and cooled melted butter.
  2. Add egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix.
  4. Add salt, baking soda, and flour. Mix.
  5. Add chocolate chips. Mix in.
  6. Chill for 2 hours minimum.
  7. Bake at 350 until you start to see the cookies starting to lightly brown on top.
  8. Take out of oven, hit them with some big flakes of sea salt and place on a cooling sheet for 5 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.
