Instructions

For the cake: Pour oats into boiling water. Set aside

Cream oils and sugars. Add eggs and mix well. Add oatmeal mixture and mix well.

Add baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well. Add flour and mix well.

Pour batter into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

For the topping: In a medium saucepan, add butter, sugar, milk, baking powder, coconut, and salt. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Fold in nuts. Pour hot mixture over the cake.
