Philly Cheesesteak Pasta Bowls

A fusion dish combining classic Philly cheesesteak flavors with pasta, featuring seasoned ground beef, vegetables, and a creamy cheese sauce.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz pasta of choice (dry)
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • none Tiny diced mushroom, onion, green peppers (to taste)

Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 none jar Alfredo sauce
  • 1 C beef broth
  • 1/2 C skim mozzarella
  • 1 C mozarella
  • 1/2 C plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic, cajun seasoning (or more to taste)
  • none Other veggies of choice like broccoli

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Cook ground beef (or sliced steak) in a skillet, and season with part of an au jus seasoning packet (or seasonings of choice)
  3. Add onions/mushrooms/green peppers and continue cooking until soft.
  4. Add in beef broth + alfredo sauce, stir/simmer until thickened. Stir in cheese and seasonings.
  5. Once thickened, turn heat off + stir in plain greek yogurt (extra creaminess/protein).
  6. Assemble bowls/tupperware in this order: 1/2 cup cooked pasta (or just divide total pasta evenly amongst bowls), 1 cup meat sauce, sprinkle of mozzarella.
